Juvederm
Wrinkles are hereditary; people get them from their children.
Juvederm is a non-surgical, injectable treatment known most notably as a dermal filler for the cheeks, lips, and mouth regions. It is used to address volume loss due to aging and improves the jawline profile and contour, which ultimately enhances the sign of aging. The Juvedém® line of facial fillers offers 5 different products to meet your specific treatment needs, allowing you to restore facial volume, fill in wrinkles and furrows, enhance lip volume, define facial contour, moisturize and improve skin quality. Its base ingredient, hyaluronic acid, is used in more than 2.4 million procedures annually.

The Experience
The patient experience is designed to be relaxing and restorative. You are welcome to make yourself comfortable in one of our luxurious chairs, where you can listen to music, read, watch a show on your device, or lie back and unwind. After checking in with our concierge, you will be offered a blanket, a beverage, and a selection of magazines to ensure your comfort for the duration of your time with us.
You will then meet with one of our medical providers, who will work with you to decide which Juvederm product best fit your needs. Our providers are there to answer any questions you may have every step of the way. Once your personalized treatment plan is complete, the procedure to inject the product takes 15 to 60 minutes. Results are often noticeable immediately after a process and can last one to two years.
Is Juvederm safe?
Juvéderm is an extremely common, non-surgical procedure that is performed in the United States and countries worldwide. It was approved by the Food and Drug Administration in 2006 and is used in more than 90% of patients who receive fillers annually. It integrates with the tissue under the skin and delivers the most natural results.
Are there any side effects?
Most Juvederm aftereffects are gentle in nature and brief, ordinarily settling in 7 days or less. The most common effects occur at the area surrounding the point of injection, such as redness, mild pain, or tenderness. This is usually temporary and goes away after a short while. While extremely rare, some complications can include permanent scarring, vision abnormalities, blindness, or stroke. This can be caused by an untrained, uncertified, or unlicensed provider who unintentionally injects the medication into a blood vein. At our med-spa, every one of our professionals has been highly trained, and they are certified in their appropriate fields, having achieved their procedural licenses.
